Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

Who would have thought that one year later at The Haven could be so different. Instead of a 2am swim to cool off, we were bundled up in sweatshirts and blankets!

Remembering Grandma J...

Grandma J kept all her recipes in this homemade cookbook. It was neat to look through and see all the recipes she collected. Some were cut out from magazines and newspapers and some were written in her handwriting. Neat...neat...neat! Jeanne is now the owner of it.

Here's a closer look...

Check out how big this book is

My mom, Rosie has mastered Grandma J's Glorified Rice recipe. She makes it perfectly, so it is requested annually on Christmas Day at Aunt Phyl's. Since I'm her daughter, I get to enjoy it more than once a year!! But, now I need to learn how to make it like grandma and her. The pressures on...Yikes! I've been practicing! Notice the missing salad? You guessed it, I already helped myself! Heather

A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do

Oh my... do you see a fly??? I guess this is the next best thing to a fly on the wall. I wonder who wanted to be a fly on the wall but ended up in Jeanies drink?

All I Want for Chrithmath is my.....

This is what happens when you eat tooOOOoo much sugar! This picture will go down in history for our family. Our evening at the cabin was filled with lots of stories, giggles and letting our hair down (and teeth out). I love the joy we have when we are all together, being just who we are.

A girl can never bring too much stuff...

Who would guess that when we get together it's only for 2 nights. We all bring enough stuff to last weeks. There's no picture of all I brought, but I think I traveled with the most (a car load). Let the new memories begin... Heather
